Monday, 21 July 2025 marked the official start of the GIPE++ Summer School in Jakarta, hosted by Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. 

The day was carefully planned to combine academic exchange, cultural connection, and formal recognition of the collaborative work carried out over the past months. The morning began with hotel pick-ups and a journey to the BSD Campus, where students prepared the final touches for their project handover. At the Ilkom Labs, the atmosphere was lively as participants engaged in video recordings and interviews, capturing the spirit and progress of the GIPE++ initiative.

A guest lecture and colloquium at the School of Business and Tourism (SBTI) followed, offering insights and a chance to visit the university’s labs. The session blended academic enrichment with hands-on exploration, reflecting the program’s interdisciplinary nature.

After a shared lunch on campus, the group traveled to the Semanggi Campus, where preparations continued for the much-anticipated handover. The highlight of the day was the Official Reception hosted by the Rector and Deans, a warm and formal acknowledgment of the unique stud model of GIPE.

The day closed on a high note, giving the opportunity to the GIPE to sightsee or recover from Jetlag or just prepare for the final presentation to their client tomorrow on the Utung Jawa island.
